The Steam Correspondence Circle was inaugurated over ten yrs ago, to: Encourage the building and operation of steam-driven boats by offering practical advice and mutual aid. It was to bring together like minded persons on a friendly,non-rivalry basis and to achieve that aim without imposition of discipline or regulation on its members.
